Heidi Flynn

Accredited Music Therapist
Heidi is a Registered Psychotherapist, a Certified Music Therapist and the owner of Music Therapy Services of Simcoe County. She has been providing music therapy services in communities across Simcoe County since 2001. Her team of music therapists support individual of all ages and with a variety of needs. They specialize in providing music psychotherapy and developmental services to individual with special needs, neurologic rehabilitation (stroke or brain injury), and geriatrics with Alzheimer’s and dementia.
Heidi’s life experiences of having a brother with Down Syndrome and a son with complex needs including ASD enables her to understand the incredible impact music can have on the emotional well-being of all individuals, but especially those whom find it difficult to, or cannot communicate verbally. Heidi has a great deal of experience working with individuals with a variety of emotional, developmental, and neurological needs.
Leah Lalonde

Leah has been working in the Human Services field for over 30 years.
In a unique approach to therapy, Leah supports those she serves in understanding thought patterns, emotional blocks and their impacts on overall health and wellbeing. Her intention is to ensure she's fully present and mindful as she supports others to walk the path of self-discovery, self-empowerment and re-establishing balance in their lives. Taking a polyvagal informed approach in her work, she assists many from all walks of life to heal from the effects of trauma. This takes place through increasing awareness of nervous system functioning and its impact on emotional states, our relationships and day-to-day functioning. Leah seeks to share the science behind feeling safe and connected, in a way that leads others to fall in love with life and live fully. Leah provides service to individuals, couples and has extensive experience working with the Indigenous community.
Jerdelle Pilger

Psychotherapist / Family & Marriage Therapist
Jerdelle is a Registered Psychotherapist with an integrative, holistic approach to wellness. She understands that we all experience challenges in our lives and is known for creating a warm, non-judgmental, and collaborative space that supports positive change and overall wellness. She believes a strong therapeutic relationship, based on trust, empathy and collaboration is vital to delivering effective treatment.
As an ethnically diverse and trauma-informed clinician, Jerdelle incorporates evidence-based techniques including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Trauma Resiliency, Solution-Focused, and Family Systems into her therapeutic practice. She has additional certification in Trauma Counselling from Sick Kids Centre for Community Mental Health, training in the impacts of colonization and genocidal loss on Indigenous Communities, Interpersonal Relationships of Sex Workers, Anger Management and Solutions.
Jerdelle is a registered member of the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and is a Professional Member in good standing of the AAMFT and CAMFT.
Pamela Robinson

Pamela is an Educational Consultant with qualifications in Special Education and Behavioural Science (ABA). Pamela has been working with students with learning disabilities, autism, and complex needs since 2005 as a tutor, personal support coordinator, and program coordinator for Camp Winston. Pamela offers individual or group tutoring sessions for students with learning disabilities integrating organizational skills and assistive technology into all lessons. Pamela is also a PlayLab facilitator, offering fun and educational workshops where children build confidence through success and accomplishment.
Carissa Sparrow

Carissa's dedication to mental health comes from a genuine desire to support others. Carissa uses a person-centred, holistic, and integrative approach in treatment, valuing the connection of mind, heart, and spirit. She begins where you are and works collaboratively to tailor therapy to meet your needs, sensitive to cultural identities and lifestyle choices that impact your experience, conveying warmth and care throughout the process.
Carissa uses evidence-based techniques, including Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), Mindfulness, Emotion-Focused and Solution-Focused. Carissa will work with you to set meaningful and realistic goals to increase your self-worth, confidence, and overall wellness.
Julie Thurston

Naturopathic Doctor
Julie Thurston is a registered Doctor of Naturopathic Medicine in Ontario, and is a member of both the Ontario and Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors. She has completed additional licencing requirements which enables her to prescribe regulated substances such as bio-identical hormones and thyroid replacement. Julie maintains a general naturopathic practice for patients of all ages. She has developed strong clinical experience with women`s health and preventative care for active older adults as well as digestive, emotional and learning/cognition related issues. Her careful explanation of diagnostic and treatment options allows her patients to become active participants in their healing process.
